With the holidays around the corner, the Strathroy-Caradoc Fire Department and myFM News are joining up for the 12 Days of Holiday Fire and CO Safety tips. myFM News will be providing you with a new tip each day leading up to Christmas weekend. Today marks day #9 and Fire Prevention Office Don McLean talks cooking in the home.
McLean adds even when you are done cooking, move your pan or pot to a cold spot on the stove and never have the handle hanging over the stove edge to prevent a child from pulling on the handle.
