Coming up on Monday October 23rd, the Wright Family Foundation will be hosting its inaugural Empty Bowls fundraiser, sponsored by Libro Credit Union and the Wright Family Performing Arts Centre Foundation. Board member Sarah Ford, says charitable organizations and artists organize the event with the aim of raising awareness and securing funds to address hunger and food insecurity.
Ford says all funds raised from the night will go to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
There will be two sittings, one at 5pm, which is sold out, and one at 7:30pm which still has tickets left, and can be found on eventbrite.ca searching empty bowls with a cost of $30.
