
Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario is celebrating after a remarkable achievement at this year’s Walk for Parkinson’s.
The event raised an impressive $476,195, recognizing the accomplishment and dedication of 193 sponsors, 1600 participants, and numerous volunteers.
On September 9th and 10th, participants from 14 locations in the region walked to raise funds and awareness for Parkinson’s disease.
All funds raised will remain within the local community to provide essential services, programs, and support, as well as contribute to research, education, and advocacy efforts that impact the over 10,000 individuals living with Parkinson’s in Southwestern Ontario.
