The 34th Annual Peterborough Folk Festival is set to captivate music enthusiasts this weekend.
The annual event kicked off last night at Market Hall, with Juno-winning artists The East Pointers, accompanied by Mimi O’Bonsawin and Irish Millie.
Blues Album of The Year winner Angelique Francis graces the Gordon Best Theater stage tonight, joined by Emily Burgess.
On Saturday, the festival will transition to Nicholls Oval Park, where a diverse array of acts, including Broken Social Scene, Dan Mangan, will be featured.
Over 90 craft, artisan and food venders, a beer pavilion and a Children’s Village will cap off the festival, which is set to wrap on Sunday.
