The Peterborough Century 21 Lakers picked up a big road win over the Cobourg Kodiaks last night, cementing their second-place position in the MSL standings.
The Lakers offense was led by Colton Armstrong and birthday boy Taite Cattoni who both picked up hat tricks.
Joining the scoring spree were Turner Evans, Holden Cattoni, Eli McLaughlin, and Jr. A Lakers callup DJ Clark, each contributing two goals apiece.
Thomas Hoggarth and Blake Gibson-MacDonald both added single goals to the tally.
Holden Cattoni also chipped in four assists, giving him an 11 point lead in the MSL race.
Drew Hutchinson grabbed the win in net, making 38 saves along the way.
The Lakers will wrap up their regular season with a home-and-home series against Brooklin, playing away on Wednesday and then at the PMC on Thursday, setting the stage for an exciting playoff clash between the two teams next week.
