The coming of the warmer months is usually welcomed by spring and summer markets. Starthroy-Caradoc is hosting their first Downtown market of the season on Saturday, and it’s a Night Market, says Kait Topham, Booking and Events Coordinator for the Municipality.
Frank Street and Front Street will house the market this year. You can expect live music, bouncy castles, at lest 60 vendors and counting. You can also purchase a $5 wristband from participating restaurants to bring a alcoholic beverage out onto the street to shop. The market will run from 4pm to 10pm and Topham says it will be a night filled with excitement.
Applications are still being accepted for the Night Market, and the Saturday Morning Markets. You can check out the Municipality’s Facebook and Instagram pages for the application, or email market@strathroy-caradoc.ca. Hannah Slabic, Events and Market Assistant for the Municipality, says the Saturday Morning Markets will be here for the season as well.
The Saturday Markets are still accepting vendors as well. The market has new hours this year, running from 9am to 12pm. There will be another Night Market on August 5th this year, there won’t be a morning market on that day.
