Area libraries have a whole week of activities this week for March Break. At the Strathroy Library, Vanessa Jenner, Deputy Supervisor, tells myFM they have something for everyone.
They will also have Giant Games like Jenga, Snakes and Ladders and Connect Four on Friday from 12pm to 6pm, as well as a family story time at 10:30am.
Preregistration is required, you can visit www.library.middlesex.ca and go to ‘events’ or call at 519-245-1290.
Over in Mount Brydges, Karen McIntosh, the Interim Supervisor for the Mount Brydges, Komoka, and Delaware Libraries, tells us they have events for the whole family.
They will give you one of five Genius World Record to try and break. On Wednesday from 10am to 2pm, they will have STEAM activities that will include experiments that include drag, force and buoyancy. Thursday from 1pm to 8pm, you can take part in a family style Amazing Race. Try to get through all the road blocks and detours the fastest. Friday is Superhero day. You can create your own superhero and then make a comic with the hero you created from 10am to 2pm.
