OPP were kept busy over the course of this past weekend. Police tell us on Friday, OPP were dispatched to a youth group home on Delaware Street in Parkhill for the report of an assault on staff members. A 12-year-old resident of the group home, was charged with 3 counts of assault under the Criminal Code of Canada. There were no injuries reported. The youth’s identity is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act. A day later on Saturday just before 3am, Police were dispatched to a business at 230 Main Street in Glencoe for the report of a disturbance. Upon leaving the business, one individual began causing a disturbance. A 20-year-old of Strathroy was charged with being intoxicated in a public place.
