Strathroy-Caradoc Police were called to the Strathroy highschools Tuesday afternoon regarding a potential threat. Media Relations Constable Michelle McIntyre tells myFM, that to ensure the safety of all students and faculty, the Police locked down the school as they conducted a weapons investigation. This lockdown is no longer in effect. Strathroy-Caradoc Police with the assistance of the K9 units from both London Police and Woodstock Police concluded the original investigation and have determined there is no concern for the safety of the students and faculty returning to the school today. Local Police will be increasing their presence in the school as they continue to investigate this matter.
