Council hopefuls will be keeping a close eye on the polling results today as the 2022 Municipal election is upon us. Numerous polls across the province open today with a number of competitive mayoral races to watch including Strathroy-Caradoc where incumbent Joanne Vanderheyden is in tough facing her strongest challenge in over a decade. 21 total candidates are vying for 9 council seats with 3 for sure being new faces due to vacant incumbent seats.
