The St. Clair Region Conservation Authority are letting the public know of an upcoming parking lot and property closure at Strathroy’s Conservation Area. The parking lot and property on Head Street will be closed Monday, August 29th while trails are upgraded and resurfaced with stone dust. Heavy equipment will be on-site and operating during construction. The closure is expected to last for approximately 1 week and will result in 1,350 metres of the Rotary Trail being enhanced to extend the life of the trail system and improve accessibility. The project is funded through the Ontario Trillium Foundation’s Community Building Fund.
