It is Easter weekend and this is what’s open and closed for Strathroy-Caradoc.
The Real Canadian Superstore, Food Basics, Walmart, Canadian Tire and the LCBO are closed Friday and Sunday, but open regular hours Saturday and Monday.
Shoppers Drug Mart is closed for Good Friday and open Saturday, Easter Sunday and Monday.
Municipal and Government buildings in Strathroy-Caradoc including Town Hall and the Post Office are closed for the whole weekend, including Friday and Monday.
Local gas stations will vary hours with some being closed Good Friday and Easter Sunday, and others being open from Friday to Monday with adjusted hours.
Local financial institutions will also have adjusted hours through the entire weekend.
Strathroy-Caradoc residents are reminded of Easter Eggs hunts coming up! Saturday, the Strathroy-Caradoc Optimist Club is hosting one at 1pm behind the pool of the Strathroy Fairgrounds Recreation Complex. The Mount Brydges Optimist Club is also having a Easter Egg hunt Friday at 10am at Lions Park.
