A proposed development will be centre stage this Thursday through a virtual neighbourhood open house to be held by Strik Baldinelli Moniz Ltd as an opportunity for input and discussion with regards to the proposed development to construct a new, mixed use (commercial/residential) development on lands at 100 Second Street, west of Head Street North. The property is currently zoned Highway Commercial (C2) Zone and the owner is proposing to rezone it to allow an additional use for residential townhouses.
The proposed development would have two commercial buildings, each one-storey in height, and located along Second Street. On the south and west property limits would be 35 townhouse dwellings that are two-storeys in height.
The application also requires a statutory Public Meeting to be held by Strathroy-Caradoc Council, which will occur once the applicant has an opportunity to review and address comments from the Open House, municipal staff and other agencies.
The following are the details on when to participate this virtual Open House:

The ZBA application also requires a statutory Public Meeting to be held by Strathroy-Caradoc Council, which will occur once the applicant has an opportunity to review and address comments received during the Open House, from municipal staff and other agencies. The Statutory Public Meeting is not to be confused with this Open House held solely by SBM to engage the Residents that live in the area. You will be notified separately of the Statutory Public Meeting. With that being said municipal staff will be in
attendance to observe the comments and questions.
