Strathroy-Caradoc Police are investigating a fraud incident. Back in April , Police initiated a fraud investigation at the request of the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc. On November 17th of last week, criminal investigators from Strathroy-Caradoc Police along with assistance from the Vancouver Police Department executed an arrest warrant and search warrant in the City of Vancouver. Yiu Sun WONG, a 72-year-old man from Vancouver was arrested and returned to Ontario facing two charges. On Friday, the accused was returned to Strathroy where he was remanded into custody. WONG is scheduled for a bail hearing this week. The Vancouver resident is also considered a person of interest in an unrelated fraud investigation by Lambton County OPP.
