Today, Seasons Strathroy is proud to celebrate International Day of Older Persons, otherwise known as Seniors’ Day.
The Seniors’ Day program at Seasons was created for residents by residents. Once residents decided what they wanted to do, the Seasons team came together to make the day come to life.
At Seasons Strathroy, residents are eager to show off their astounding skills and talents with Seasons Got Talent. The day concludes with a lively dinner party and a live performance from Gemini Country.
“Although we believe that Seniors’ Day is every day at Seasons, today’s celebration is our way of thanking our residents for being remarkable members of the Strathroy community and making our Seasons community feel more like home,” says Patricia Rastin, general manager at Seasons Retirement Communities in Strathroy. “We invite all members of the Strathroy community to reach out to their favourite older adults and celebrate them today and every day.”
Seasons Strathroy followed all COVID-19 protocols to ensure residents and staff were able to enjoy the event safely.
Today’s celebration at Strathroy is one of many happening at Seasons Retirement Communities locations in Ontario and Alberta to celebrate Seniors’ Day.
