The Coldstream Boardwalk is being partially replaced this fall, to make the trail more accessible and safe for users. Greg Wilcox, Manager of Conservation Areas for St. Clair Region Conservation Authority says the funding to replace the current boardwalk which is 25 years old, is coming from the Great Lakes Local Action Fund, which is a part of Ontario Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks. The boardwalk allows users to see a unique piece of land down in southern Ontario.
The replacement will take place starting this weekend when the current boardwalk is removed, to September 30th-October 1st when the new boards will be going in.
