A new butcher shop has opened in town, and all of their business so far has just been from word-of-mouth, but Vanda’s Family Market is still very busy. With a wide range of products, from frozen goods like seafood and vegetables, to fresh local meat and specialty prepared food like stuffed chicken breasts and meatballs, you can pick up a variety of products.
Vanda’s Family Market opened their doors in late August and Owner and Butcher Adelino Azevedo says that opening up his own store with his wife Vanda Sousa has always been a dream of theirs.
Adelino says that since opening, they have seen a lot of business, with people coming in just based on the fact that they saw the construction happening there and now that the store is finally open people are curious. Head over and pick up fresh local goods, located on the corner of Queen St. and High St. East.
