Now that summer is in full bloom, so are the downtown beautification planters along Caradoc Street which continue to garner positive public feedback on how one of the main arteries into the downtown is looking beautiful, and that’s including at Strathroy-Caradoc Council this past Monday night. At the Council meeting, Councillor Frank Kennes took some time to highlight how well the planters turned out.
Mayor Joanne Vanderheyden added that although she hasn’t had a chance to see the planters in the evening, she has received much positive feedback that they look beautiful when lit up at night.
The planters were part of a beautification process over the last few years focused on Strathroy’s downtown core.
