Andy’s Pizza has opened its third location in Kilworth on April 26th and is already seeing the community’s support. The popular pizza place was seeing a big reach from their Mount Brydges location, reaching all the way to London. The goal of the Kilworth location is to be a closer spot for those people from the Kilworth and surrounding areas to order from.
Andy’s Pizza has been in Strathroy for over 30 years, with a small hiatus of a few years during that time. Almost 2 years ago, about three months before the pandemic hit, the Mount Brydges location was opened up.
The increased popularity from the Mount Brydges location and the massive delivery reach they were seeing, opening a third location closer to some of those communities was the natural next step. Kilworth was chosen due to its proximity to London and Komoka, two popular delivery locations.
Clarke and Keera Colbourne are the franchise owners of this new location, and even with a quiet opening they have been busy since day one.
Opening during the pandemic, the Colbournes were lucky to not run into any major delays. Clarke Colbourne said that except for one piece of equipment, they did not face any major delays in the construction and opening process due to COVID-19. The one delay they had was a piece of equipment and it on the manufacturers side, and was due to number of employees who could work at one time. The delay was only six weeks.
Colbourne says that the support for the community has been phenomenal, and they want to say thank you to everyone for all of the support. They also are very grateful for their staff who only received one day of training, and have done great work thus far.
Andy’s Pizza offers pickup and delivery options. You can order through their website or by phone.
