
Strathroy-Caradoc Police on Tuesday of this week were on patrol in the area of Glendon Drive and Regent Street in Mount Brydges when an officer conducted a traffic stop in relation to a number of Highway Traffic Act offences. Through the investigation it was determined that the male driver was impaired by drugs and subsequently arrested. A 30-year-old of no fixed address has been charged with multiple charges. · Criminal Code offences- Impaired Operation of a motor vehicle, Failure or refusal to comply with demand, Dangerous Operation of a motor vehicle
· Highway Traffic Act offences – Use plate not authorized for vehicle, Fail to surrender permit for motor vehicle, Novice driver-presence of drug.
· Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act- Operate a motor vehicle without insurance-
The man is to appear before the courts on April 12th, 2021 to face these charges.
