Strathroy-Caradoc Council passed an official agreement outlining the Amiens Road maintenance at their February 1st meeting. The main element of the agreement surrounds the confirmation that Strathroy-Caradoc maintains the entirety of the Right-of-Way from Hickory Drive to Lamont Drive and Middlesex Centre maintains the entirety of the Right-of-Way from Lamont Drive to Glendon Drive. It was created collaboratively by the manager of public works and staff of both municipalities. As part of the road maintenance agreement, each municipality will move forward with responsibility for keeping the road in the shape which meets the minimum standards according to provincial regulations, along with snow removal, sanding and liability insurance.
