Strathroy-Caradoc Police are investigating an early morning robbery downtown Wednesday morning. Police say at 4:51am, two suspects entered the Circle K convenience store on Front Street and demanded money and cigarettes; one of the suspects was armed with a knife. Suspects fled on foot westbound, with a small amount of cash and cigarettes. The lone clerk sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene. Strathroy-Caradoc Police recovered the knife that was used in this robbery at the scene and are currently investigating. Police will release further information as it becomes available. Suspect number one is described as male, white, slim build approximately 25 to 30 years old, wearing a black jacket with a beige or yellow hoodie underneath, he had a small black backpack with a red Toronto Raptors logo, dark pants, black running shoes, a camouflaged ball cap, mask and glasses.
Suspect number two is described as female, white, heavy build approximately 35 to 40 years old, wearing a khaki green coat, black and white striped shirt, black track pants with red/white logos down the outer thigh, black running shoes, and a burgundy mask.
