During Tuesday’s Middlesex County Council virtual Inaugural meeting, Cathy Burghardt-Jesson was appointed as the 2020/2021 Warden. That makes Burghardt-Jesson just the fourth Middlesex County warden in the past 30 years to serve a second straight term. Strathroy-Caradoc Mayor Joanne Vanderheyden in 2010 and 2011 was the most recent. Burghardt-Jesson says we’re going to have lots of challenges facing us in 2021, and she’s looking forward to leading the charge.
