Strathroy-Caradoc Police Service Criminal Investigation Division, with assistance of the Uniform Patrol Division, are investigating after 2 men went to Strathroy hospital Sunday around 6:30pm suffering from gunshot wounds.
The two male victims were dropped off at hospital and were admitted with non-life threatening gunshot wounds. Both were subsequently transported by ambulance to a London hospital.
One of the men was released while the other was kept for observation. Investigators have determined that the shooting occurred in an alley behind Frank Street and a suspect has been identified.
The suspect is described as a white male, 22-25 years of age, 5’5”, 130lbs, black hair, no shirt and was last seen running north along Frank Street.
Investigators believe that this was not a random incident. Police are requesting anyone who may work or live in the Frank and Front Streets area that have surveillance cameras to contact investigators.
Anyone with information in relation to this incident is asked to call the Strathroy-Caradoc Police or Crime Stoppers.
