A $5000 donation has been made by the municipality of North Middlesex to VON Elgin-Middlesex Strathroy. Mayor Brian Ropp says they’ve been looking for ways to help out and this was the opportunity to take.
Ropp adds the extra appreciation towards front line workers is long overdue, as he feels there should always be a spotlight on the work they do. The donation to VON comes from the Municipality’s Community Vibrancy Reserve Fund. He says North Middlesex has been doing really well throughout the pandemic, saying residents and businesses are abiding by the regulations and as long as that continues there shouldn’t be any problems getting through it.
