A hotel is coming to Adelaide Metcalfe. After years of work, moving on from various developers, and a bunch of setbacks and including an actual ground breaking ceremony that got stalled, the Township’s council finally approved a site plan Monday night to move forward on the major addition to the Township. Mayor Kurtis Smith says there’s much more coming including food and fuel options.
This will all be built around the Tim Hortons on Centre Road. Smith says he’s thrilled this has finally been given the green light and it’s a huge economic driver for the Township. The site plan is awaiting approval from Middlesex County before anything else can be done.
