OPP are investigating a collision involving a cement truck on Wednesday. Just after 10 in the morning, Police say they were called to a single motor vehicle collision on Nauvoo Road, south of Townsend Line, Township of Warwick. Initial investigation revealed that the vehicle left the roadway and came to a rest on it’s side. The driver of the vehicle became trapped. Lambton County Fire Department were on scene to extricate the driver from the vehicle. ORNGE ambulance was dispatched as a precaution. The driver was transported via ground ambulance to the local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The Ministry of Labour (MOL), Ministry of Transportation Ontario (MTO) and the Ministry of Environment (MOE) were contacted in relation to the incident.
