ST. THOMAS ROBBERY WITH STRATHROY-CARADOC CONNECTION

A St. Thomas crime with a Strathroy-Caradoc connection. St. Thomas Police are investigating a Robbery from the Mac's Convenience Store on Talbot Street Sunday night at approximately 8:25 pm. A man entered the store, pulled out a knife and demanded money from the clerk. The clerk emptied cash from the register into a bag and handed it to the suspect. The man then fled the store and was last seen leaving in a white Ford F150 Licence Plate 4333FC. The clerk was not harmed during the robbery. The truck had been reported stolen earlier the same day from the Strathroy-Caradoc area and was recovered later the same night abandoned on Chippewa Road in Muncey. The truck was towed to the Colin McGregor Justice Building where it will be processed by Forensic Identification Officers. The suspect remains at large and is described as a white male, 18-20 years of age, 5'8" to 5'10" in height, medium build with smooth skin and small eyes. The man was wearing a light coloured hoodie with dark jogger pants. Anyone with any information is asked to contact The St. Thomas Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
