10/5/2018 2:27:16 PM

Strathroy-Caradoc police have been busy with a recent spike in vehicle break-ins and thefts. The municipality has seen 13 motor vehicle thefts and attempted thefts in the past two weeks. Police say on the morning of October 1st, a 911 caller said they confronted two suspects attempting to break into their car. The caller said one of the suspects threatened to shoot them. OPP later intercepted a stolen pick up truck in the area, which is suspected to be related to the recent break ins. Police are asking that vehicle owners lock their vehicles and do not keep valuables inside of them. If you see anyone that you feel is suspicious, contact police immediately.
