TRUCK PURSUIT MAN WANTED BY POLICE

    Local Police pursue a stolen truck. Strathroy-Caradoc Police say on August 31st around 3:15 in the afternoon Police were called to the area of Frances Street, Strathroy, for a citizen reporting that they saw a man who was possibly wanted on outstanding warrants by police, operating a
black pickup truck. Police found an un-plated black Chevrolet Avalanche with two occupants. Police attempted to stop the vehicle
which immediately took off at a high rate of speed, east on Carroll Street, speeds estimated at over 100km/h. Police positively identified the driver as 29-year-old David Snake who was confirmed to be wanted on outstanding warrants by several police agencies. After a brief pursuit, police in the interest of public safety terminated it. Police confirmed that the truck was stolen. David Snake from Chippewas of the Thames First Nation is wanted by The Strathroy Caradoc Police for Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, flight while pursued by police, fail to
comply with conditions, drive motor vehicle no plates, drive while suspended, in connection with this case. Anyone who knows the whereabouts of David Snake or with any other information is asked to contact the Strathroy-Caradoc Police or Crime Stoppers.
