SUN SAFETY
7/9/2018 8:16:50 AM

Skipping on sunscreen before you head out into the sun can cause you to burn, but over time it puts you at a higher risk of developing Melanoma.
Melanoma can be the most deadly of all skin cancers and Canadian Cancer Society Ambassador Gordon Shewfelt explains what you can look out for when examining your skin.

Shewfelt says if you see a spot like this, go to the doctor right away. He says if it has been caught early enough, it's very curable.

To protect yourself you should wear sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses.
