Illegal entry. On Wednesday of this week between 1:30am and 9:30pm OPP responded to the Canada Border Services enforcement building at the Bluewater Bridge in response to two separate incidents involving two alleged impaired drivers. Investigation revealed that on both occasions, two separate drivers attempted to gain entry into Canada at the bridge and for both times, the primary Canada Customs Border Officer recognized that the drivers had recently been drinking. Both drivers were administered "road side' screening devices resulting in a "fail reading". A Marysville man and Port Huron man have been charged and sent back to Michigan through an Immigration process.
