LOCAL POLICE TALK RECENT SAFER INTERNET DAY 2/12/2018 7:28:04 AM
Safer Internet Day was this week and the day was all about teaching children about being online and being safe and responsible. Strathroy-Caradoc Police Constable Mark Thuss says it is important for parents to know what their children are viewing and be there to answer questions. Thuss says the big thing police talk about at schools is once something is sent its out there forever.
He says that depending on the age of the person people could face criminal charges including child pornography. Thuss adds if you are online and don't like what someone is sending you block them or get out of a chat group.
