MEETING BETWEEN BIA AND TOWN TO DISCUSS DOWNTOWN CONCERNS
10/12/2017 10:06:12 AM

A follow up now on a story we brought you last week, when the Strathroy BIA voiced concerns about issues in the downtown such as loitering and smoking. As promised, officials from the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc met with the BIA to discuss the issues and town CAO Greg McLinchey says the meeting was very productive but he hopes moving forward the BIA will be more represented.

There were only about 6 or 7 businesses represented at this meeting out of a group that contains houses over 70. McClinchey says moving forward there are a number of initiatives the Municipality will be pursuing in the short and long term to help beautify and expand the downtown area.
