A big success and it was fantastic. Those are the words from Supervisor of Recreation Programs and Community Liaison Paul Lattimore when talking about the inaugural summer for Strathroy-Caradoc's Summer Camp program. Lattimore says they are very happy with the results and over 350 kids were registered. He says they found some families dipped their toe in the summer camp water the first time out but that's ok.

He says the municipality was a recipient of the Ontario Sport and Recreation Community Fund which helped a lot towards equipment purchases and allowed for the financial backing to begin the program. They will have some wrap up meetings to see what areas need to be tweaked and improved for the summer of 2018.
