8/8/2017 7:42:44 AM

On Thursday of last week just before 7:30am, OPP were sent to a suspected break and enter in progress in Brooke-Alvinston Township. Police received information from a concerned citizen who had seen a suspicious vehicle parked at a residence and went on to say they saw a suspicious person removing a window screen and breaking a window at the residence. Shortly then after, the suspect male was seen entering the vehicle and fled the scene with a female passenger. OPP was provided a description of the motor vehicle which was seen a short time later traveling through a bean field in the Cameron Road area eventually becoming abandoned. After an extensive search of the area, police were unable to locate either suspect and the vehicle in question was seized from the scene and will be held for expert examination by the OPP Forensic Identification Services. Police ask that if you have any information regarding this incident please contact them.
