ROCKETS GM CONCERNED OVER POTENTIAL KOMOKA JR B HOME
5/18/2017 7:32:37 AM

It may be the month of May but Junior B hockey news is alive and well this week. As myFM informed you Wednesday, the municipality of Middlesex Centre and the Lambton Shores Junior B Predators are currently discussing a possible team move to Komoka. We caught up with Strathroy Rockets General Manager Mike Bondy who says in regards to the Predators, there is a legitimate concern here for the Rockets and other teams.

Bondy added they are staying in contact with the Ontario Hockey Association as to how this issue is progressing. Three teams in total applied to the OHA and all were initially given approval by the OHA to potentially move. Final approval from a municipality standpoint with regard to any agreement between the Predators and Middlesex Centre will be made by Middlesex Centre Council at its June 21st meeting.
