STRATHROY-CARADOC'S RECYCLING PROGRAM
3/16/2017 8:37:08 AM

When in doubt leave it out, that's the message from the Bluewater Recycling Association when it comes to recycling. Strathroy-Caradoc Director of Building, Planning and Waste Services, Matthew Stephenson says recycling is important to ensuring the longevity of landfills. He adds that Strathroy-Caradoc has an awesome recycling program as 60 to 65% of the items that the municipality has is recyclable and the provincial average is 60%, so Strathroy-Caradoc is meeting or exceeding the standard.
Because of this Stephenson says only a small amount of recycled items picked up from homes get sent to landfills.

The Bluewater Recycling Association is always updating their list of items that can be recycled. To see the recycling process for yourself visit the Bluewater Recycling Association website at www.bra.org.
