LOCAL POLICE ON FRAUD PREVENTION MONTH 3/16/2017 8:34:09 AM
Fraud affects Canadians of all ages, education, or income, and Canadians have lost a lot of money due to fraudsters. As myFm informed you recently, March is fraud prevention month, and it's all about improving awareness of the dangers of fraud. Strathroy-Caradoc Police Constable Mark Thuss says they do what they can to catch fraudsters.
Between 2014 and December of 2016 $290 million was lost to fraudsters across Canada. Anyone affected by fraud is asked to contact the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre in Toronto.
