Local Police continue to investigate break and enters in the area. On September 12th around 4:30am, Strathroy-Caradoc Police responded to an intrusion alarm at a business on Maitland Terrace in Strathroy.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH IN EFFECT

We could see some nasty weather this afternoon (Fri. Sept. 21).
Environment Canada says conditions are favourable for the development of dangerous thunderstorms that may be capable of producing damaging wind gusts, large hail, and heavy rain.

ALEXANDRA PLAYGROUND RE-OPENS

This week Strathroy-Caradoc celebrated the refreshed fix to the playground in Alexandra Park with a ribbon cutting. Director of Community Services Rob Lilbourne says the playground was shutdown for about 6 weeks due to mother nature.

An idea that started a little while ago by a young lady at the Municipality came to fruition this week as Strathroy-Caradoc cut the ribbon on the community's first Sensory Park located at the corner of Adelaide and High Streets.

142ND GLENCOE FAIR THIS WEEKEND

A staple of the Glencoe community is back again this year, it's the 142nd Glencoe Fair. The Glencoe Agricultural Society is hosting the annual weekend fair at the Glencoe fairgrounds from today until Sunday.

The Junior C North Middlesex Stars are a few games into their 2018-19 regular season. Stars general Manager Hayden Mass says that the team is looking to carry their momentum from last year. Mass adds that they have a few new faces on their roster.

BOOZE TOUR THIRSTY THIEVES WANTED

Strathroy-Caradoc Police are looking for a pair of individuals who tried to quench their thirst and not pay for it. On Friday September 14th just before 8:30pm, a man and woman entered the Mt. Brydges Food Mart where they entered the LCBO section of the store.
