Strathroy-Caradoc Police are investigating the attempt theft of over $1200 in groceries from The Real Canadian SuperStore in Strathroy on Sunday July 16th just after 6:30pm.

MCDONALDS RENOVATIONS COMPLETE

The McDonalds in Strathroy is fully renovated with lots of new features for both customers and staff. A new contemporary dinning room added 20 more seats and an area where you can charge your laptop or phone.

CHURCH BREAK AND ENTER

Church break-in. On Friday of last week OPP responded to a report of a Break and Enter at the Vanneck United Church, on Vanneck Road. The investigation showed the suspect trespassed on the property and entered the church by removing a window screen.

LOCAL DRIVER NABBED ON 402

402 driver nabbed. On Friday of last week around 4pm OPP responded to reports of an erratic driver on Highway 402, in Strathroy-Caradoc. Officers found the vehicle, pulled it over and determined that the driver, a 46-year-old male, from Strathroy-Caradoc had consumed alcohol.

After a transitioning period from its old EMS Station on Frank Street and using the Fire Department building for a little while, Strathroy's Middlesex-London EMS has a new home now on Frances Street in Strathroy in the Entegrus building.

On Monday morning, the Honourable Glenn Thibeault, Ontario's Minister of Energy, stopped by the Chatham-Kent Entegrus office to express his support of the proposed mergers between Entegrus Powerlines Inc. which also houses a location in Strathroy, and St. Thomas Energy Inc.

ROCKETS ACQUIRE FORWARD

The Strathroy Rockets have added some punch up front thanks to a recent financial transaction acquiring forward Noah Campbell from the Waterloo Siskins. Campbell, a resident of Coldstream accumulated 6 goals,13 assists and 33 penalty minutes in 41 games last year in his first GOJHL season.
