The Ontario College Strike continues after Faculty members voted against an offer from the College Employer Council Thursday. That's bitter news to the more than 500,000 students across the province who have been out of the classroom for over 5 weeks.

As over 500,000 Ontarians learned Thursday that they still have to wait longer to get back to school, by supper time Thursday, Premier Kathleen Wynne proposed back to work legislation in Queens Park but that was blocked by the NDP.

Some drivers getting a little carried away. On Remembrance Day around 2am OPP conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Glendon Drive. Officers determined that the 31-year-old male driver of the vehicle had consumed alcohol.

POPLAR HILL HOME TOUR STARTS TODAY

The Poplar Hill Home Tour is this weekend for it's first time ever. The tour starts at 2pm today, tickets cost $25. Marian Reith helped organize the tour and explains that the tour visits 6 homes, the oldest being built in 1859.

The Wynne Government has tabled back-to-work legislation in Queens Park to end the strike of College faculty. The move comes just hours after faculty voted against a contract offer from the College Employer Council.
