If there are any men walking around in red high heels, it won't be in Strathroy as it has been for the last 6 years. The annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes where area men wear red high heels and walk a mile around Strathroy will not be run by the Strathroy Women's Rural Resource Centre this year.

TRAFFIC STUDY TO BE DONE ON MCKELLAR STREET

Feedback and voices from the public have been heard by Strathroy-Caradoc Council. At Monday's Council meeting the concern of speed of traffic and simply the amount of traffic on McKellar was raised especially with 3 elementary schools on that street.

The 140th Annual Glencoe Fall Fair is coming up this weekend. There are family friendly events taking place from tonight until Sunday. President Jason Lambert says if you've never been before, you have to stop by this year plus they are changing things up a bit.

Reapers Realm Haunted Forest Ride is ready to roll. Stacey Adair is the Creep Coach at the St. Clair Township attraction. She tells myFM that the 15th season is about to begin this weekend. Adair says Reapers Realm doesn't want to spook the younger set, kids are their future fans.

The annual Strathroy-Caradoc helmet campaign is an incentive program for youth to wear helmets while cycling that has been ongoing for several years.

The motto is a simple one, Cancer fights dirty but so do we. The first annual Mudmoiselle Cancer Fundraiser which is a 5km women?s only mud obstacle run with all the funds raised going towards services and research for the Canadian Cancer Society.

CROSSING GUARD REVIEW TO BE DONE IN MCKELLAR STREET AREA

Traffic congestion on McKellar Street wasn't just a concern brought to Strathroy-Caradoc Council on Monday but also the concern that maybe there's not enough crossing guards in the area due to the street housing 3 elementary schools.
